English Language Requirements for Executive Officers

Applicants must submit copies of certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language results and academic qualifications stated below and above respectively, otherwise their applications will NOT be considered.

1. For applicants who graduated in or after 2003:
   1. Overall result of at least 6.5 and the component "Writing" with score of not lower than 6.5 in the same sitting in the Academic or General Training Module of IELTS; OR
   2. Any one of (a), (b) or (c) in TOEFL below:

2. For applicants who graduated before 2003, the following qualification will be accepted as the equivalent of paragraph (A)(i) or (ii):
   Grade "C" or above in Use of English in HKHLE or HKALE, with the score on the Writing paper not lower than Grade "C" (where applicable).
