Language Requirements for Executive Officers

Applicants must submit copies of certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language results and/or academic qualifications stated below, otherwise their applications will NOT be considered.

Language requirements

English language

IELTS: Overall result of at least 6.5 and the component “Writing” with score of not lower than 6.5 in the same sitting in the Academic or General Training Module; OR

TOEFL: Any one of (a), (b) or (c) listed below; OR

	Total Score
(a) Paper-based (PBT):	550 (Writing: 5)
(b) Computer-based (CBT):	213 (Writing: 5)
(c) Internet-based (iBT):	80 (Writing: 24) / 4.5 (Writing: 4.5)*

HKALE: Grade “C” or above in Use of English, with the score on the Writing paper not lower than Grade C; OR

HKDSE: Level 5 in English Language.

Chinese language

HKALE: Grade "C" or above in Chinese Language with the score on the written part (where applicable) not lower than Grade “C”; OR

HKDSE: Level 5 in Chinese Language.
